Special Issues

Notice: Because we have enough special issues scheduled, we are rejecting most new proposals and suggest prospective guest editors to contact other publications. We are also recently avoiding and disencouraging any guest editor co-organizing more than 1 special issue per year.

Guidelines for Special Issue Proposals

The IEEE IoT-J is soliciting special issue proposals on timely and significant technical topics with broad interests. A special issue proposal should have enough content to address: background and motivation, significance and relevance to the IEEE IoT-J, technical scope of the proposal, the plan for advertising the Call for Papers (CFP), the plan for handling paper review process, tentative schedule, a list of potential authors, a list of guest editors and their short biographies with emphasis on their experience in the proposed topic and relevant editorial experience, and one-page CFP draft. Please refer to the IEEE IoT-J’s guest editor guidelines (https://ieee-iotj.org/guest-editor-guideline/) for details. Guest editors, who are interested in organizing a special issue, are invited to submit a proposal through https://ieee.atyponrex.com/journal/iot.
